Incompatible functions between Sheets and Excel

When using Google Sheets as the data source for an app, some calculations might not be performed due to incompatibilities between Microsoft Excel and Sheets. Here's a list of functions that work in Sheets but not in Excel.

Note:

Please be advised that your Google Sheet has to be "Excel-conform" in order to guarantee the full functionality of your app as your Sheet is passed to the app in .xlsx format.

What helps in troubleshooting is to export the Google Sheet as an .xlsx file and then check how Excel handles it when you open that file.
